Day 13

Day 13

It was half back at the grocery store today, so when Deidre spent $110, she got $55 back. Yes! When Deidre was at the store, she bought lots of fruits and vegetables for the garden. Once it became spring again, she would plant them.

After that, Deidre got offered a free vacation. She denied it, remembering what happened the last time with Lauren. After that, they bought some gnomes to get rid of all the wild animals.

Lauren checked the mail and saw that Rocky sent her yet another Love Letter- the third or fourth one the past two weeks!! Rocky was a bit of a stalker- Lauren was seriously thinking about breaking up with him. While this was happening, Rachel was watching the weather channel in the fire station. She realized that the news channel was showing Sunset Valley, not Bridgeport!

Day 12

Spooky Day

It was Spooky Day today. Lauren was doing some babysitting and she gave Deidre $50! Ka-ching!

Lauren and Rachel dressed up. Lauren was a mermaid and Rachel was a bunny. Lauren also woke up with yet another mood swing!

They all went to the fair together. Nico went on the bouncer and Rachel played around on the swings and on the slide. Then all of them braved the haunted house together. Everyone came out fine, except Lauren who came out as a ghost!

After that Deidre went home with Nico and Lauren and Rachel went trick or treating together. They only had time to visit one house, though. Lauren got a sweet and Rachel got a teddy bear which she named Dewayne. Lauren egged one house and they went home to sleep.

Day 11

Day 11

(She rolled another eleven!)

Deidre delivered the floor hygienator and got loads of simoleons in return and improved inventing skill. Deidre then shooed all the children way, as she was going to detonate some rubbish. Lauren took Nico with her to the fire station. On the way to the fire station  Rachel found a bird which she decided to keep. Her lifetime wish is now to collect 20 wild animals.

Deidre was detonating all the rubbish for scrap, because she didn't want to get dirty by digging through the piles. She detonated some of the rubbish that spawned in the dumpster. It was a very cool explosion!

It started raining though; they couldn't go for a day out. Instead, Deidre promised that they would go out tomorrow- it was Spooky Day tomorrow, after all! Deidre hurried to the fire station and played with Nico for a while. She started to read the Cooking Skill book, and gained one skill point. After that she started to read mixolgy- she didn't get too far in it though, as she didn't even gain one skill point!

Everyone had a shower and headed home. Lauren was in a terrible mood, so she went to bed and started to play the guitar. It's Spooky Day tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Day Nine and Ten

Day Nine

Once again, the locals gathered up $100 for Deidre and her clan! How nice! 

They all went to the fire station, except Rachel who had to feed and clean out Poe's cage. Then she spent some time gathering scrap for Deidre.

Deidre, on the other hand, got inventing straight away when she reached the station. Unfortunately, she caught on fire! Deidre hopped in the shower straight away.

As everyone was settling down, Lauren went over to her friend's house to stay over. She was playing the guitar the whole night on. A glitch happened where she was sneaking- even when she wasn't out past her curfew!

Day Ten

Yes, once again, Deidre got $100 from her neighbours! She was steadily getting loads of money- soon, they might live in an actual apartment!

The kids had their breakfast and showered. Lauren practiced her guitar, Rachel went to mind Poe and Deidre taught Nico to walk!

Eventually, after lunch breaks and nappy changes, Nico knew how to walk.

As a reward, Deidre promised that they would go out to the fair and get some food some day- maybe tomorrow. Everyone agreed- except Nico, who couldn't talk!

Deidre got up to start inventing, when an opportunity popped up. The Spa wanted Deidre to make three floor hygienators for them. Of course, Deidre agreed!

Deidre made them- but it was half past three am by the time she was finished! We'll continue this tomorrow.

Skill Update!

Deidre and Lauren were learning some skills over the past two days. (It's now Day 10.) Here is a quick update:

Lauren:

Day 8

Day eight was amazing- perhaps the BEST DAY EVER. 

Deidre got yet another $100 from some of her neighbours. Then, she invented some more stuff and rushed to the consignment store to sell her items. Lauren woke up with yet another mood swing.

When Deidre got back she invented The Magical Gnome!! Yesss!

 Then, they all messed around. Deidre eventually gathered everyone around- they were going to go out for food and a shower. While they were halfway through with their dessert, Deidre got a notification- her items sold brilliantly, and now they have $2037! Now they're going to move to the fire station. We'll see you there!!

Day Six

Day Six

The day started off magnificently- Deidre entered Nico in a cute baby contest and he won second place! She got $150!!

Deidre lit the barbecue and they all sat down for breakfast. After breakfast, Deidre went over to water, weed and harvest the plants. Just then, an opportunity popped up. An opportunity to go on an ALL EXPENSES PAID ADULTS-ONLY HOLIDAY!

Of course, Deidre took it. Lauren was delighted- finally, she could throw a party. Sure, it would take place in a dumpster, but whatever. Time to get her popularity up!!!

Lauren remembered that Deidre found a stereo while dumpster diving, so she placed it outside her house. Time to invite everyone and paaaarty!!!!!

Lauren ordered a pizza to share with everyone. She asked Rachel to leave- can't have a child in a teen party!! But Lauren forget about the pizza- the pizza woman left after a while.

Lauren got her face on- time to make out with Rocky. But Rocky was flirting and dancing with someone else...

Lauren decided to ignore that and the party continued.

Rachel, meanwhile, was at the festival on the swings. She was the only one in the park-- and it was almost past her curfew. Yet she continued swinging nevertheless.

After going on the swings, Rachel got some food, went to the bathroom and headed home.

When Rachel got back, the party was stronger than ever and everyone was dancing non-stop. Nico was happily playing with Peaches. Rachel was so tired though- she decided just to go asleep in her tent.

The pizza finally came at 10:42pm. Lauren paid the $30 and called everyone over. One of her friends collapsed on the floor- party overload!!

Everyone enjoyed the pizza. Just then, Lauren got a call. She tried to answer it, but she didn't have the chance. Then she asked Rocky to slowdance. So sweet. But...then the cops came!!

Then, Lauren got lectured and she had to break up the party. Deidre is coming home in an hour! Lauren rushed around and cleaned up the house. Unfortunately, everyone had to leave and they said the party sucked. It was still a modest success though. When Lauren was finished cleaning she fell asleep.
